Skylark - Parker Super Seal Yacht with ePropulsion Electric Pod Engine
Skylark is our eco Parker Super Seal. She is an accomplished sailing boat, quick, safe and fun. We can regularly get 8.5 knots through the water, she is a joy to sail. Our cruising range is generally the south coast between the Solent and the West Country plus the Channel Islands and France. We have aspirations to take her round Britain, (we just need to prioritise the time).
Skylark is primarily powered by sail, a main and genoa (140%) and a couple of asymmetric spinnakers.
Her motor is an ePropulsion 6kW electric pod engine, with a 9kWH lithium battery, both made by ePropulsion. We have a Rutland 1200 48 wind generator. Leisure power is supplied by TotalCool 12v lithium batteries with TotalCool 100w Solar panels. We carry a ThrustMe lightweight electric outboard for shore runs.

Our Trapper 240 Yachts
with ePropulsion
Electric Engines
We run two Trapper 240 yachts, Boobytrap and Nautibuoy. These are equipped with Spirit Evo engines that silently propel the 1.2 tonne 25ft yachts.
Our cruising range is along the Solent, Chichester Harbour, Christchurch bay, Poole and Swanage.
Our electric yachts are silent, highly versatile stealth racer-cruisers.
Our Tenders
We have a range of tenders, Out and about, the AB inflatables work really well, We like recyclable aluminium, the lightweight Linder boats and Latbros workboats. Rigiflex recyclable rotomoulded are our prefered safety boat option
As for engines, we are of course all-electric.
Our everyday workhorse is the ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus and the EVO hydro regenerating version for long-distance

Our eSafety Boat is a Rigiflex 360
with an ePropulsion engine
This solution is fast catching on as the watersports eSafey boat of choice, following its launch at the RYA Dinghy show
Coastal users enjoy the range and pulling power of the Navy 3 engine, inland water users often choose the 1kW Spirit propulsion unit which can pull 1.5 tonnes,
several dinghies and crews
The Rigiflex is a good all round work boat that we use around the harbour all the time. The boat is kept as a demo boat on the water in Northney Marina
Our Kayaks and SUPs
We do a lot of kayaking and paddleboarding, normally as the break between the day and the evening. Paddling around our beautiful island, watching the sun set across the water is a very special experience of which we never tire
Our Sandbanks Style Paddle Boards are just perfect, super-stiff at over 20 psi, super slippery through the water, they track really well. The children love the adventure
The Sandbanks kayaks, both single and double are super stiff , great for paddling around the harbor and have the advantage of being portable aboard bigger boats
or in the car boot.
